What is Vinyasa Yoga?
Vinyasa Yoga is flowing and dynamic.
It is a series of poses linked with your breath. Vinyasa movements are smoothly flowing and almost dance-like.
Vinyasa Yoga is a movement meditation that reveals all forms as being impermanent and for this reason are not held on to. It is a dynamic fluid practice where you will become immersed in the sensations and feelings of your body and breath.
Creative Yoga teaches Surya Namaskar A – Sun Salutations. You will feel heat generate from your tips to your toes, as you increase muscle strength, mind focus and flow.
Next we move on to Surya Namaskar B. This is your introduction to the Warrior poses which further builds the tapas – fire & heat.
The flow becomes rhythmic and with the sequences allow you to go deeper into your practice and understanding of the asanas (postures) . The rhythms change and gradually the postures become more grounded and slower finishing in Savasana (corpse pose) where the body rests and the mind continues with meditation, in stillness.
