Group classes are designed to suit all levels as the postures can be broken down for beginners and progressed further for the more advanced student.
If you are a complete beginner it is recommended you join a Beginners course or take Private classes, or ask Abbie about suitable classes on the existing timetable.
In the group classes you can expect to practice breathing exercises – Pranayama, Yoga postures – Asana and relaxation/resting down in Savasana.
Heat is naturally generated to help muscles relax and stretch and to detox the body. Many people are surprised that they actually produce some (or a lot) of sweat. The cardio system can be effected as the flow gains momentum and rhythm.
Yoga encourages self inquiry and particularly SomaChi Yoga, promotes expression, compassion and develops our innate wisdom.
Whilst honouring the traditions of Yoga and maintaining the Spiritual practice, Abbie draws on her knowledge of movement and dance, to design classes that are creative, challenging, energising and relaxing at the same time.
All classes must be booked in advanced as this is a very cosy and personalised studio, and beach classes are strictly adhering to the permit issued by Phillip Island Nature Parks.

Classes and times are subject to change due to demand hence booking is a necessity.

Yoga for children. Classes combine breathing practice, yoga postures, free movement and the popular “Musical Yoga Poses” – Musical statues incorporating the learnt yoga postures.
Children are encouraged to feel and sense their body, notice Chi – energy and find balance. They learn very practical ways of being mindful and also kind and compassionate towards themselves and others.
